The Magnifique Team - comprised of like-minded individuals with over 30 years of combined design, manufacturing, and culinary experience - began with a mission to find the answer for one “burning” question: Why do companies use or add harmful chemicals to make cookware? For “non-stick” coatings? For higher heat ratings? Aesthetics? Isn’t that a bit like poisoning the apple?

After mountains of materials research - researching mountains of materials - we found the best option to be Kaolin Clay, an all natural, 100% sustainable, toxin-free, extremely durable, beautiful and versatile home cooking material that’s been used for centuries (or simply “wonderclay,” as we’re fond of calling it around here).

In fact, we don’t just use Kaolin Clay for our cookware… we’ve also developed a unique way to create a super-hard, glass-like, easy-to-clean Kaolin Clay Glaze.
