I have thoroughly enjoyed my claypot cooker. It has made making meals with less clean up possible. I was impressed that straight out of the box the non stick qualities of the pot and versatile ability make it one of my favorite new tools. The only thing I’ve had a bit of trouble with is cooking proteins on the sear function. Its can tend to lead to some darkening of the pot in the middle where the burner is and some of the food can tend to stick if not stirred continuously. I have not had too much issue cleaning it up however. Just let it soak in some very hot water and then use a water/baking soda paste and let sit for any staining left behind. Takes everything right up. Great product overall!
I havent used it yet with food, but tested it and it works great so far. Ive only had it for one week. I like the owtmeal color and cant wait to see how my food comes out. Everything came in hreat condition and delivered fast.
This is the best slow cooker I have ever had. It cooks evenly, and haven't had any issues with food sticking. It also has an elegant design - I dont mind leaving it on the counter.
I like the clay pot, i would put a 5 but the button is an issue . Each time i press it to change its hard to change mode. And to switch or to turn on. It really takes a while to get to it. Then it works. It should work automatically when pressed but it doesnt. Maybe a malfunction on the firmware buttons. But other than that its good.
Love this cooker. It cleans so easily with just a sponge wipe. It does cook hot so be careful with some meats like chicken. It is so pretty and i leave it on my counter and use almost daily.
I do like this pot. The one thing I don't like is that it gets really got in the middle and not the rest of the pot. Very hard to brown or sauté.
I bought one of these and totally love it. I like all the options for just one person dont have to dirty lots of pans just to have dinner
We have one. Love it. There are two of us. Since wife got it she cooks meals in it multiple times a week. Might be breakable so be careful with pot and lid. Took a few times to get the hang of it. But is the best toy she's ever bought. Took a few times to get the hang of it. But is the best toy she's ever bought.
Love mine. I made Sunday sauce in it. The sauce thickened well and I didn't have to babysit it
I bought this as a gift for my granddaughter. She absolutely LOVES it!!!
I love and use this clay pot oven so much I bought 2! Somehow everything cooks faster & tastes better cooked in this magical appliance. 🪄 I live in the hot dessert and it has made heating up my oven & my house unnecessary! Their customer service is outstanding as well! Classy high quality product from a high quality, classy company. Buy at least 1- you won’t regret it
The cooker is just okay. Low and slow mode is definitely hotter than a slow cooker. It also gets over hot in the center. I don't really like it but I spent so much on it I will have to keep using it.
I’m using mine right now. It’s not a sit and leave the house device. But I work remote 90% of the time, so it’s great to be able to put dinner on around 3/4 on braise and be done in 2 hours once kids are home. We eat a lot of beef (we purchase a cow each year), and I use it for all the random cuts.
I love mine! I bought it with the first presale months ago (maybe a year?) and have had so many great meals plus it’s saves me using other pots for the same dish
I’ve had nothing but success in in my clay cooker. From garlic shrimp scampi, 15 pounds of peaches parcooked for canning, 75+ pounds of tomatoes parcooked for canning too, warming pollo asado and tortillas, chiles en nogada, braised beef short ribs with potatoes crisped in duck fat, fontina cheese stuffed meatloaf, truffle risotto, and a multitude of my personal recipes. I will say silicone helps with any long cook, ie. meatloaf in a food grade silicone mould makes life easy. I’ve not had issues with burning any recipe including béchamel mother sauces. I will add that I am not going to think plopping a filet mignon steak or any specialty cut of meat on the sear function will not have the expectations of uneven cooking in a clay pot. However, prewarming in a conventional oven then adding a cold oil/ghee aids in helping the maillard reaction; cooking rule has always been ripping hot pan, cold fat equals less stick with most proteins. Even beurre noisette, browned butter sauce, which can go-off and burn easily, was perfect in this cooker with crispy sage over ravioli. I wanted to challenge this cooker and make a batch of consommé, notoriously difficult for most chefs, came out perfectly in this cooker. At this point experience with ingredients and different methods of cooking is helping me attain dishes with ease; this is just another method to challenge myself in preparing meals. That being said, or typed, I truly wish everyone using this clay cooker could experience the ease of preparing meals as I have as it has been an enjoyable adventure.
I seldom use my Slow Cooker anymore … this is my newest favorite kitchen appliance!!
I’ve had mine since February and absolutely love it. I haven’t had any problems with mine.
Did a great job sauteeing onions & my eggs turned out "frambled." Love that it's so nonstick & easy to clean. Don't like that it can't detect food until I put the lid on, steaming things I don't want steamed. Maybe I'll try putting the lid on, them adding food?
