Care & Cleaning

Before First Use:

  • Clean the Main Base Unit, Claypot, and Claypot Lid with a damp, soapy cloth, then rinse with a clean damp cloth and dry thoroughly. NEVER submerge the Base in water.

This removes any packaging residue and odor traces that may be present. This is completely safe and not detrimental to the performance of the Claypot Oven.

Care & Cleaning:

  • The Claypot and Lid are dishwasher safe, but will also clean up very easily by hand. Please DO NOT USE scouring pads or abrasive materials, but a soft cloth or sponge and a mild dish soap. For stubborn food particles, simply soak with some warm water and a mild dish soap.

Impressive Versatility and Performance from a Clay Pot Multi-Cooker

This 4.5-quart clay pot multi-cooker has quickly become a standout appliance in the kitchen due to its impressive 8-in-1 functionality. It is incredibly versatile and has handled a variety of different meals with ease. It was first put to the test for cooking pasta, and it performed excellently, heating evenly and delivering perfect results. More recently, it was used to prepare a chicken dish, and it worked flawlessly once again, ensuring the meat was cooked thoroughly while remaining tender.

The standout feature is the removable clay pot itself. Beyond being a non-toxic and nonstick alternative to traditional slow cookers, the fact that it is oven-safe up to 500°F adds a massive amount of convenience for recipes that require a quick sear or finishing in the oven. From steaming and slow cooking to more specialized tasks like proofing, this unit has proven to be a reliable, high-performing tool. It is a great size for everyday meals and offers a much wider range of uses than a standard slow cooker.

Great upgrade for my kitchen

I'm really pleased with this kitchen gadget. My old oval crock pot's glass lid shattered randomly one day after 15 years of service, so seeing a non-glass lid on this was a relief, especially since it's a regular round pot, it's easy to replace if something happens. I also like that the pot is reusable, not just built into the heating element, which when you have limited kitchen space, feels less bulky and more integrated into my regular kitchen.

I have used the slow cook and rice settings so far, and the results have been great. I even had to turn off the cooker while I was in the middle of rice cooking to bring my son to swim lessons, and I came back and the rice was actually done and cooked perfectly, even with just the leftover steak inside. I've never had a rice cooker (didn't want extra kitchen gadgets and never bothered with my slow cooker before) so this was a pleasant surprise for me.

I have the greenish color and it's a nice addition to my kitchen when it's out. Overall, I'm very pleased.

Slow Clay Pot Cooker for making great dinners.

This cooker is fabulous.

I was opening the package and found everything
was meticulously packed. Unfortunately the beautiful
lid was firmly in it's protective casing. I pushed on the
handle down and was shocked when the lid came out
and I cracked it. I had to go to the store and get a replacement.
This was not the companies fault, just my ignorance.

Now let's get to cooking.

We started out with rice on day one. It was so easy!
You put the rice in the pot and turn the selection ****
to RICE. An animation becomes visible and when the animation
is gone you will soon here a beeping sound. It immediately
does into a "Keep Warm Mode."

There is a temperature and time option but not for rice. You're
going to get it right the first time.

Last night we did pasta. We put half a box into the pot
and turned the selector **** to PASTA. Once again, it's
in fool proof mode. No need to guess at temperature or
duration, the clay pot takes care of it.

It automatically switched to Keep Warm and it did.
I couldn't have been happier.

I've never used a cooker before but I know this
will become one of the most used cooking choices
in the kitchen.

It's big, it's heavy, it has multiple uses and assuming
i don't do something silly again, it will last forever.

Five stars. Quite a value!

I've really enjoyed this!

I have enjoyed this! It is super versatile! Really like the glass option as it's easy to clean. I found if you double the recipe you have to do double the time (for rice at least, it took twice as long since you can't put a timer on that and it counts down for you). It's worked great for slow cooking and I am excited to try it for the other items! I love the convenience of all in one- and it is perfect for when you have company over for holidays and need another way to cook things and keep things warm!

Good unit, but you'll have to read my review for pasta and rice information

As other reviews have said, this is a nice quality slow cooker that does a lot more than just slow cook. The glass top is excellent for seeing what is happening inside. The fact that the entire glass pot can go in the oven is fantastic (but note that the lid supposedly cannot.) I ran it through multiple options to see how they worked.
1. Slow cook: as expected, heat seems to be consistent and made a great stew when left on with normal expectation of cook time. It shifts to keep warm for you once the timer is done. It has both low and high options.
2. Proof: I proofed pizza dough, and it was impressive how well it worked. I selected 90 F (there is a range) and you can set a timer. It is very nice to see inside while your dough is proofing so you can gauge the rise without opening anything.
3. Pasta: I followed the (very sparse) instructions in the book which did not match what it says in practice. I did put in a 16 oz box of pasta and the suggested 3.5 cups of water and selected pasta. I added a dash of olive oil to avoid sticking. It began heating up and eventually beeped at me, almost like "Hey I'm ready!" Then, I was able to monitor the cook time - the book just says to put in the pasta and water and have it go and it will tell you when done. That didn't make sense to be due to varying cook times for varying pasta types. The unit itself makes more sense with how it beeps when "boiling" and then I started my own external timer to cook the pasta as desired. I stirred it a few times during this process. I ended up not having to drain it, and I even added some spaghetti sauce and cheese and put it in the oven without the lid and made a pasta bake! But the book instructions are lacking seriously on pasta.
4. Rice: I followed the again sketchy instruction book which has no real maximum quantity, just a ratio to follow of rice to water. There's also no info on if you should rinse it first or not. I ran the ratio suggested and was not happy to find that the rice boiled up so much and then leaked out of the edge of the lid and got into the heat element below. This was with using only about 1 2/3 cups of rice which is not that much. I had pre-rinsed it too. It also stuck all over the bottom of the pot and was not easy to clean. It took about 40 minutes to cook the rice. It has no count up/down timer either, so you have NO IDEA when it is going to be done. It does beep when done. I was unimpressed with this method of rice cooking due to the lack of information on when it will be done and the stuck on rice. But my family liked how fluffy it was with this cooking method.
Steam: I steamed some pre-made frozen dumplings set on parchment paper in the included rack. This was simple to do as it just heats up the water while whatever you put on the rack steams. Just know you won't know when it is going to boil. You likely have to monitor your own timing of how long your item is going to steam.
Braise & Oatmeal: Not tested. Oatmeal has literally no instructions/guidance in the included booklet.
Keep Warm: Worked fine to keep the stew I made warm while we finished up the rest of dinner preparations.
So overall, I like the size. I like the removable glass pot. The item is attractive and does many different functions. But the lack of descriptions in the booklet make me have to remove one star. I was basically writing my own notes in the booklet as I tested the various cook modes.

A modern take on traditional clay cooking, and I like it!

First of all, this thing is a work beast, the clay pot is why. It holds heat well and keeps moisture in, so food comes out tender and a bit more developed in flavor compared to other typical metal inserts.
At 4.5 qt capacity it’s good for a few servings without taking over your counter.

The multi-cooker side is useful, but realistically you’ll gravitate toward a few modes like slow cook, rice, maybe steam. It’s simplifies your setup without replacing every appliance, and yet it is so nice to have to set and forget, go to work and come home to a fully cooked meal. This thing is now responsible for me bagging roast, chicken and other stew packets in the freezer to just get out, dump in, turn on, and forget about it until you’re ready to it later in the day.

Keep in mind that the clay pot is heavier and needs a bit more care than standard pots
Heats differently, give it time, don’t rush it
Use, clean and store. If you’ll leave it out buy itself it can break. It is the perfect size and easy to control and the settings are very tactile too.

The oven-safe aspect is actually neat. My old one, a gift from Grandma didn’t do the same. With this you can move your cooking from cooker to oven when needed.
Yeah, this thing did a modern take on my traditional clay cooking, and I like it!

Absolutely amazing

This is my first slow cooker. I am used to cooking and baking every other way, but this thing blew me away. It's so easy to whip up a meal and let it simmer and cook all day. The aromas fill the home. The quality of this item is top tier. It's very easy to clean. It's a beautiful colour and it's so versatile, you can cook just about anything in this. This cooks a meal for at least 6 people. So far, I've done a whole roast and cornish hens. It's all come out evenly cooked, tender and great.

Versatile, Safe, and Makes Cooking So Easy!

I absolutely love this multi-cooker! The clay pot is a standout feature; it’s made of safe, non-toxic material and I really appreciate that I can also use it in the oven and on the stove, which adds so much versatility.

Another thing I really like is that I can open the lid while cooking on any preset, which makes it very convenient to check on meals without interrupting the process. The heat distribution is even, and everything I’ve made so far has turned out delicious.

I’ve already used the slow cooker function and cooked rice, and both came out really well; flavorful, tender, and perfectly done. I haven’t tried the oatmeal option yet, but based on my experience so far, I’m sure it will perform just as well.

It’s also very convenient to cook, serve, clean, and store in the same pot, which saves time and reduces dishes. This has made my routine so much easier, especially coming home from work to a meal that’s already ready.

While it is a bit more expensive compared to other options, the quality and build are clearly there. It feels well made and designed to last. And it looks nice on my counter; it is not as big as my previous slow cooker.

Overall, this is a great multifunction slow cooker that makes everyday cooking simple, convenient, and enjoyable. I definitely recommend it!

Good-looking upscale easy-to-use slow cooker, takes up less counter space

From its space-saving round shape to the durability of the heavy clear glass cooking pot and lid, there is much to love about this programmable slow cooker. The size makes it easy to keep ready for use as it looks good enough to leave out on the counter, not stored away like the more classic rectangular (and much larger) classic slow cooker. Since the cooking pot is clear glass, there is no need to remove the lid and let the heat escape while cooking to see how things are progressing. The presets are another nice touch, however it did take two cycles to cook rice using the amounts indicated in the instructions manual. I have used any of the other presets, but anticipate I may need to make similar adjustments to cooking times for those also. It's also very easy to clean this pot in soapy warm water after use.

The profile, size and sturdiness of this slow cooker makes it easy, safe and fun to use.

Good Quality Slow Cooker

Love using slow cookers, really love that this one is see through, makes it so much nicer when cooking something. Price is a little higher than many other slow cookers but the quality of Magnifique is there some it is worth a little extra money for the quality of this brand. The Glass pot is very solid and should last quite a while with normal use and care. The cooker itself is very versitile with 8 options that should cover all of your cooking needs. The Glass bowl is easy to clean. Overall a very nice slow cooker.

Awesome Multi-Cooker a Breeze to Clean

This multi-cooker immediately reminded me of a classic enamel pot with an electric burner that an older lady in my neighborhood had (it was an original slow cooker). When I saw this modern version, I knew I had to get it. I love that the pot is dishwasher-safe, which makes cleanup so easy. The first thing we cooked was a roast with some veggies. It turned out great. The roast was incredibly tender and flavorful. I appreciate that it’s an 8-in-1, offering so many versatile ways to cook multiple dishes.

Love the glass pot, easy, versatile, and cleaner cooking

I picked this up to cut down on kitchen clutter, and it's been a great all in one solution so far. The glass pot really stands out, it feels cleaner to cook in, and being able to see your food while it cooks is surprisingly useful.

Pros:

+ 8 in 1 functions cover most everyday cooking needs

+ Very easy to use with simple presets

+ Pure glass pot, no coatings, great for health conscious cooking

+ Heats evenly and works well for soups, rice, and stews

+ Dishwasher safe and easy to clean

+ Mostly compact size, good for small households

Cons:

- No searing or air frying

- 4.5 quart capacity may be small for larger families

- Glass is heavier and needs careful handling

Who it's for:

Great if you want a simple, non toxic cooker that replaces a few appliances. Less ideal if you need something for large meals or more advanced cooking.

My final thoughts:

It's great for what it is, simple, versatile, and cleaner than most traditional slow cookers. If you're trying to keep things minimal in the kitchen, this one earns its spot.

Top of the Line Cooker!

This Magnifique 4.5 Quart Glass Pot Cooker is a wonderful piece of equipment! My daughter is Celiac, and she cannot be exposed to gluten or dairy products, yet has to cook for a husband and 3 boys! This is a great appliance for everyone, but especially for her because it is glass, with a glass lid. She must cook her food separate, and use appliances that are non-porous, inert and easy to clean which prevents the cross-contamination of gluten proteins. This multi-cooker is all that and more. It has 8 cooking modes and digital controls. It really is 100% non-toxic!

Superior multi cooker glass pot

This Magnifique glass pot multi cooker is a really nice option if you want something versatile but a little cleaner feeling than traditional nonstick appliances. The glass pot is a standout feature since it lets you actually see your food while cooking and avoids coatings which is a big plus if you care about that. It handles a variety of tasks like slow cooking rice oatmeal and more so it works well as an all in one kitchen tool. The 4.5 quart size is great for small families or everyday meals without taking up too much space. The controls are simple and the preset modes make it easy to use without overthinking things. It heats evenly and does a good job with one pot meals where you just set it and let it go. Cleanup is also easier since the pot is removable and smooth. Overall it feels like a practical modern multi cooker that balances convenience versatility and a cleaner cooking surface really well.

Great on the table cooker especially for cold weather

This glass pot cooker is exceptionally well-constructed. The base serves as a heater that readily warms the glass pot on top when necessary. The cooker offers multiple settings tailored to various purposes. The low heat setting provides a slow cook function, ideal for preparing meat soups. Once heated, the feature also includes a keep warm function, ensuring the soup remains warm even in cold weather conditions.

The glass pot is robust and designed to withstand prolonged use. It is dishwasher-safe, which enhances its convenience for cleaning purposes.

Versatile, Easy One‑Pot Cooking

I recently started using the MAGNIFIQUE 4.5 Qt 8‑in‑1 Multi‑Cooker, and it’s quickly become a useful go‑to appliance for everyday meals. This unit’s biggest strength is its versatility — with multiple preset modes you can slow cook stews and braises, make perfect rice or oatmeal, steam pasta, and even keep dishes warm without needing separate appliances. That kind of all‑in‑one functionality simplifies meal prep and cuts down on clutter in the kitchen, which is great if you’re short on space or just want quick, reliable results.

One of the standout aspects of this cooker is the transparent pot, which makes it easy to monitor what you’re cooking without lifting a lid and letting heat escape. The removable glass pot and lid also tend to be easier to clean than traditional ceramic or coated inserts. Users who prioritize cleaner cookware will appreciate that components are designed to handle a range of tasks — from slow simmering to rice and oatmeal — with consistent heat distribution and minimal fuss.

Of course, this isn’t a replacement for every specialized tool in the kitchen — it won’t sear or air fry like a dedicated multicooker‑air fryer combo, and very large batches might be better suited to bigger units. But for most everyday cooking needs — soups, grains, one‑pot meals, and slow‑cooked dishes — it’s a very capable, easy‑to‑use, and space‑saving appliance that adds convenience to almost any kitchen routine.
