Hot Air & Burn Hazards

• Do not touch hot surfaces — use handles or knobs.
• During operation, hot air is released through the air outlet openings. Keep hands and face at a safe distance from vents and air outlets.
• Use extreme caution when removing the basket or trivet and disposing of hot grease.
• When moving the air fryer, hold it securely and support the base.
• Extreme caution must be used when moving the appliance if it contains hot oil or other hot liquids.

Placement & Ventilation

• Always place on a flat, level, heat-resistant, and stable surface.
• Keep at least 6 inches (15cm) of free space on the back, sides, and above the unit for ventilation.
• Also ensure the easy-assist drawer has enough surface area beneath it when pulled out.
• Do not place the appliance against a wall or against other appliances.
• Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter.
• Not for outdoor use.

Operation

• Never use the air fryer without the casserole dish and basket in place.
• Keep all ingredients inside the casserole dish — do not overfill — to prevent contact with the heating element.
• Do not cover the air inlet on top or the air outlet on the back while in use.
• Do not touch the inside of the appliance while it is operating.
• Do not leave the unit unattended while in use.
• The unit has a built-in safety micro switch that automatically pauses cooking if the basket is removed during operation.
• Do not use accessory attachments not recommended by Magnifique.
• Do not use for anything other than its intended use.

Children

• This appliance is not intended to be used by children. Close supervision is necessary when used near children.
• Unplug when not in use and before cleaning.

General

• Clean the appliance after every use.
• Switch the appliance off, unplug it, and allow it to cool completely for at least 30 minutes before cleaning.
• Never immerse the fryer unit in water or any other liquid.

Casserole Dish & Basket

• Both are dishwasher safe, or can be hand washed in hot, soapy water.
• Do not use metal kitchen utensils or abrasive cleaning materials on them.
• Rinse and dry thoroughly after cleaning.
• For baked-on food, fill the dish and basket with hot soapy water and soak for about 10 minutes before cleaning.
• Avoid sudden temperature changes with the glass casserole dish.

Inside the Cavity

• Wipe the cavity with a damp cloth or sponge, then dry with a paper towel.
• Never use abrasive products inside the cavity.
• Make sure no water or moisture penetrates the upper part of the air fryer.
• Use a cleaning brush to remove any food residue from the heating element.

Exterior

• Wipe clean with a damp sponge or cloth, then wipe dry.
• Never use steel wool, metal scouring pads, or abrasive cleaners — these will damage the finish.
• Do not let any liquid enter the air inlet on the top of the unit.
• Any other servicing should be performed by an authorized service representative.

First Use

• Before first use, wash the casserole dish, basket, silicone grips, silicone mat, and storage lid in hot, soapy water and wipe dry.
• Wipe the interior frying cavity with a damp cloth or sponge and dry with a paper towel. Make sure the cavity is completely dry before operating.
• Run the unit at the highest setting for 20 minutes without food to eliminate any manufacturing residue or new appliance smell. Ventilate the room during this time — slight smoke or odor is normal.

Electrical Safety

• Do not plug in or unplug the power cord with wet hands.

Steam Hazards

• Hot steam is released through the lid's steam hole during operation. Keep hands and face away from the steam hole at all times.
• Direct the steam hole away from electrical outlets, cabinets, and other appliances.
• Always lift the lid by the top handle only — never from the sides.
• Place the unit away from walls and cabinets during use to avoid steam damage.
• Always keep the lid closed when using Slow Cook.

Claypot & Lid

• While the Claypot and Lid are oven safe, included accessories (trivets, utensils, lid holders) are not — do not place them in ovens, microwaves, on stovetops, or over open flames.
• Do not use any accessories not recommended by Magnifique.
• The rough bottom of the Claypot may scratch ceramic, glass cooktop, or smooth surfaces — always use heat-resistant protective padding underneath.

General Use

• Do not use for deep frying.
• Do not cook instant rice.
• Do not overfill the Claypot — overfilling can cause injury or property damage.
• Always follow maximum and minimum liquid quantities stated in recipes.
• Never use Slow Cook without food and liquid in the Claypot.

• Always use oven mitts or pot holders when handling during and after cooking.

Stovetop Compatibility

• Compatible with gas and electric stovetops only. Not compatible with induction stovetops.
• Note: Some users have reported the bottom is not completely flat, which may affect even heat distribution on electric cooktops. Oven use is recommended for best results on those setups.

Handling & Durability

• Clay is more fragile than metal cookware — handle with care to avoid chipping or cracking from impacts.
• Do not drop or strike the pot against hard surfaces.
• Do not use if chipped or cracked.
