FAQs
-
Pack your meal, set the time you want to eat, and the lunch box starts heating on its own two hours ahead of schedule. When your meal time arrives, your food is hot and it switches to keep warm. The two hour cycle is what lets it run on a battery and heat your meal all the way through, rather than scalding the edges and leaving the middle cold. Need it sooner? Immediate Heating starts the cycle on demand.
-
Six cups, in a 304 stainless steel container. Room for a complete meal rather than a snack: a main, a side of vegetables, and a grain or pasta, with space left over. Enough for a bigger appetite, still easy to carry.
-
The 10,000mAh battery heats one full meal per charge and keeps it hot while you eat. Recharge it after each use and it's ready for the next day. Both a wall charger and a car charger are included, so you can top up at home or on the road. The lunch box won't heat while it's plugged in, so charge between meals rather than during one.
-
Set the current time, your meal time, and your temperature, anywhere from 170°F to 220°F. Then load your food, latch the lid, power it on, and you're done. It remembers your settings, so after the first time, your morning routine is just packing and pressing power.
-
Your meal is hot by your set time, then the lunch box switches to keep warm so it's ready whenever your break actually lands. Keeping it in the insulated bag helps hold the heat even longer. If plans change and you don't need it to heat at all, just power it off.
-
Yes, with a bit of planning. Pack your meal cold, straight from the refrigerator, and keep the lunch box inside its insulated bag until it's time to eat. If there's a long stretch between packing and your meal time, add an ice pack inside the bag. Your food still heats thoroughly when the cycle starts. As a general rule, perishable food shouldn't sit at room temperature for more than about two hours, which is exactly what packing cold and using the bag is there to manage.
-
Anything with moisture in it: pasta, rice with sauce, stews, curries, saucy meats, vegetables, and leftovers. The lunch box heats from the bottom by turning the moisture in your food into steam, and the sealed container keeps that steam with your meal. Two easy tips for the best results: if your food is on the dry side, add a splash of water before you pack it, and make sure some food or sauce touches the bottom of the container.
-
Yes. Every lunch box includes an insulated carry bag with built-in storage for utensils and a drink, so it works as a complete lunch kit. The bag does more than carry it: it keeps your food cold through the morning and holds the heat in once the cycle runs. If you'd rather carry it on its own, there's a handle built into the lunch box.
-
The stainless steel container and the lunch box lid are dishwasher safe, or wash them by hand. The heating base holds the battery and electronics, so never rinse or submerge it. Just wipe it with a damp cloth and keep the charging port clean and dry.
-
A 304 stainless steel container, a BPA-free and PFAS-free lid, and a food-grade silicone seal, all independently third-party tested. One note: 304 stainless steel contains nickel, so the lunch box isn't recommended for anyone with a nickel allergy.
