Freeze Your First Base

Your first batch needs a head start. Fill a cup, snap on a lid, and freeze it for at least 24 hours.

How To Use

From freezer to bowl in five steps.

Every batch starts the day before. Once your base is frozen solid, spinning it into a treat takes only 1 to 2 minutes.

Step 1

Prep & Freeze Your Base

  1. Choose your ingredients: fruit juice, chocolate milk, carbonated drinks, mixed fruit, and more. Plan on about 330ml per cup.
  2. Pour into a cup and stir well. Never fill above the MAX line.
  3. Place the lid on the cup and set it on a flat surface in the freezer.
  4. Freeze at 0°F (-18°C) or colder for at least 24 hours. Overnight is ideal.

Note: Don't use sugar-free beverages or drinks with artificial sweeteners.

Step 2

Assemble the Machine

  1. Take the cup out of the freezer and let it sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes.
  2. Set the cup on a flat surface and remove the lid.
  3. Set the blade bracket on top and twist clockwise to lock.
  4. Lower the main handle unit onto the cup and bracket, lining it up with the slots on both sides.
  5. Press down firmly until you hear a click.

Note: If the machine doesn't run, the cup isn't fully seated. Press down again until it clicks.

Step 3

Pick Your Mode

Plug the power cord into a 120V outlet. The white indicator light turns on. Then turn the menu dial to one of five presets:

  • Ice Cream: rich, scoopable dairy or non-dairy ice cream.
  • Sorbet: refreshing, fruit-based frozen desserts.
  • Milkshake: creamy shakes from store-bought or homemade ice cream and milk.
  • Slushy: cool, fruity frozen drinks.
  • Mix-Ins: once your dessert is churned, fold in chocolate chips, crushed nuts, fresh fruit, or cereal.

Step 4

Spin

  1. Press and hold the power button and grip the handle firmly.
  2. Press the main unit steadily downward at a slow, even speed.
  3. When the indicator light turns red, the blade has reached the bottom. Lift the handle back to the starting position, then release the button.
  4. Repeat 1 to 3 times, about 30 seconds each, until your treat is fluffy.

Need to stop? Release the power button at any time. To resume, let the blade spin up before pressing down. Never push down while the blade is stalled, as this can jam it.

Step 5

Remove & Serve

  1. Unplug the power cord, then press the unlock button on the back of the main unit.
  2. Lift the handle to separate it from the blade assembly.
  3. Twist the blade bracket counterclockwise to remove it from the cup.
  4. Enjoy it as is, or top it with juice, fruit chunks, or your favorite toppings.

Saving some for later? Put the lid back on and keep the cup in the freezer.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug First

Make sure the power is disconnected and the blade has fully stopped before you clean. Handle the blade with care to avoid cuts, and keep fingers out of the blade area.

Dishwasher-Safe Parts

The cups, lids, spring clips, blade shaft, and plastic blade bracket parts can all go in the dishwasher. You can also rinse them under running water, then dry promptly.

Main Unit: Wipe Only

Wipe the main handle unit with a well wrung-out damp cloth. Never rinse, soak, spray, or put it in the dishwasher. Skip steel wool, abrasive cleaners, and corrosive liquids like gasoline or acetone on every part.

Quick Clean Cycle

Fill an empty cup to the MAX line with tap water. Attach the blade assembly and main unit, then run any mode down and up 2 times to rinse the blade and shaft.

Take Apart & Reassemble

To take apart: set the blade bracket on a flat surface. Press the spring clip with one hand while pushing the retaining plate outward with the other. Remove the plate and spring, then lift the bracket off the shaft. Don't pull the shaft back and forth.

To reassemble: thread the blade shaft through the bracket, place the spring clip over the shaft, and press it into the second notch until it clicks and sits fully in place.

Dry & Store

Air dry parts on a flat surface or wipe them with a dry cloth. Reassemble once everything is completely dry, then store in a dry, ventilated spot away from direct sunlight. Stored damp, parts can rust or grow mold.

Troubleshooting

What the indicator light is telling you, plus quick fixes.
  • Check that the power cord is plugged into a 120V outlet and the white indicator light is on. If it still won't run, the cup isn't fully seated. Press the handle down firmly until you hear a click.

  • That's normal. Red means the blade has reached the bottom of the cup. Lift the handle back to the starting position, then release the power button.

  • The motor met too much downward resistance and entered protection mode, so the machine stopped. When the light turns solid white, you can carry on. Press down at a slow, even speed.

  • The motor is in overheat protection, which can happen after 6 to 7 cups in a row. The light turns solid white after flashing. Wait 30 to 40 minutes before you spin again.

  • Release the power button. To resume, let the blade spin up first, then press down. Never push down while the blade is stalled, as this can jam it.

  • Unplug the power cord, then press the unlock button on the back of the main unit and lift the handle. Twist the blade bracket counterclockwise to remove it from the cup.

  • Give it another pass. Most bases take 1 to 3 passes of about 30 seconds each. Also make sure the base froze for the full 24 hours at 0°F (-18°C) or colder.
