Yes. The pot and lid are made from 100% pure kaolin clay — no ceramic coating, no non-stick treatment, no plastic anywhere near your food. Because there's no coating, there's nothing that can chip, scratch off, or break down into what you're eating. Our clay has been third-party tested by Light Labs and is free of heavy metals and PFAS. What you cook in is clay, and only clay.

The 4-quart is the everyday size — a 4 lb roast or pork shoulder, a whole medium chicken, a full 16oz box of pasta, loads of rice. Right for most households, with leftovers.
The 6-quart gives you room for a larger chicken, or double batches for the freezer. Worth the extra footprint if you're cooking for five or more, batch cooking on Sundays, or the one who hosts.
Not sure which? If your usual roast is under 4 lbs and you're feeding four or fewer, the 4-quart won't leave you wanting. If you regularly cook to freeze or feed a full table, size up.

Yes to all three. The Claypot and Lid are dishwasher safe, though most meals wipe clean with warm water and a sponge. They're refrigerator safe for storing leftovers — just let the pot cool to room temperature first rather than moving it straight from hot to cold. And they're oven and stovetop safe up to 750°F, so you can brown on the base and finish in the oven without dirtying a second dish.

The one that changes how you cook is Sear/Sauté. Brown your meat and sweat your aromatics right in the Claypot, then switch straight to Slow Cook or Braise without transferring anything. No second pan, no extra cleanup. In our Test Kitchen we've made flavor-rich soups and stews, fork-tender brisket, chili, meatballs, shredded chicken tacos, ribs, pork chops, and mac and cheese — all of it start to finish in one pot.

The clay is glazed with the same material it is made out of: Kaolin Clay. The glazing happens when it is fired at over 1500F which also removes all toxins.
Our glaze is third party tested and is free from all heavy metals like lead and cadmium.

I am overall excited to try this but I a bit disappointed that it came with scratches right out of the box that are very noticeable. I wouldn’t mind if they were in the back of the unit but they are right up front and makes it look cheap. Which this unit was not. But I like that it is non-toxic.
I just love my claypot cooker! It arrived on time and the package was super nice. I love the color and I love how the weight of it isn't so heavy. I've made 2 different meals in it already and both have turned out perfect! One was with chicken and the other was with stew meat. Everything was cooked evenly and was very tender. So happy with my purchase! The little cork pad and the wooden spoon was a plus too!
I got this for my cousin. She loves it! She will make soups and pot roasts all winter!
So far I have cooked short ribs, bone broth, and pollo tinga in this. I have also used the warm function to keep dinners warm while waiting for everyone to get ready for dinner. The clay pot also does a good job of keeping liquid in and slowing evaporation. So far, I truly love it. The sear function isn’t quite as good as over a stove top, but I wasn’t expecting that. I love the look (I got the sage green) and the quality. The fact that there are no silicone seals or other potentially toxic contact points is a huge differentiator — other slow cookers don’t have this. I love that I can braise meat and stick it right in the oven to thicken the juices and get a bit of a crust.
Have used twice since buying and it cooked my food perfectly without burning! Very easy to clean and I’m excited to try out the other features during the fall season!

The product is great. Customer Service is slow. I ordered the cooker saying I’d get a lid and recipe book. I didn’t get either. They said they decided not to include it. When I ordered mine it said it came with. I’m not happy about that! Yje product itself is great.
This is my first slow cooker. I chose this Calypot multi-cooker because it is toxic-free clay pot. The design is pretty. I love the color. I've made Italian Beef with the pot. They are delicious! The pot is also very easy to clean. Nothing really sticks to the surface of the pot.
I love this cooker. The seer function is what sets it apart for me. Not to mention the look - it’s a pretty appliance. The cooking dish is nice enough to serve from without it appearing like you set the cook pot on the table. I also love that it’s oven safe. Also, the first one that shipped to me was damaged, and customer service was responsive and helpful. Okay, there’s a lot I like about this cooker.

For for starters, I love that this is made from materials that are safe for my family to cook in, and the color is absolutely stunning. I also really have enjoyed how easy it is to clean up and the multiple functions. The only downside I found so far is cooking soup. The soup is cooking on high for well over four hours, but my potatoes were still hard. I’m testing this out further to see if it was a potato issue or the cooker issue. I’m just not 100% sure if it got hot enough on the high slow cooker setting.
Absolutely LOVE my new clay pot multi-cooker! I was looking for a multi-cooker that did not have the toxic Teflon type bottoms. Wanted a pot that was safe to cook foods in safely to feed my family. Love how easy it is to clean. Love how easy it is to choose which setting to use. I would purchase this again. I’m attaching a photo of how nice looking it is in my counter.

Cleans very easily! Being light colored, I was worried it would stain, but it has not. Love that it’s non-toxic. I’m glad I choose the 6 quart.
Love this cooker!! It’s simple to use, but honestly my favorite feature is how lightweight the clay pot is! My old slow cooker was bulky, heavy, and a pain in the neck to clean. The multi-cooker pot is perfect!

This cooker is absolutely beautiful. Only used it once so far, but I loved it. It takes much less oil to brown or sear because it is naturally nonstick. It also retains heat and moisture so well that you'll need much less liquid when slow cooking. And it's wonderful to know you're cooking in a natural product, no chemically treated pots.
This 4 quart multi purpose cooker has been so fun to use and versatile for meal prep. I have shared pictures with my family and they are now looking into purchasing for their homes.
